As the leading broker in hangar and aviation real estate, Robert has sold more aviation property than any other broker in Central Oregon. In addition to selling the Epic and Cessna manufacturing plants at the Bend Airport, Robert has sold over $20 million of aviation-related properties at various airports, including Bend, Redmond, and Prineville. Aviation properties are complex due to government oversight, and Robert has been instrumental in guiding clients and creating a seamless process for acquiring tarmac-related properties.

Robert has developed and managed commercial property in Bend since 1980 and is familiar with the challenges of real estate acquisition and disposition in a rapidly growing community. Robert provides a needed personal experience to buyers and tenants of mixed-use properties or commercial centers.

Aside from his commercial real estate ventures, Robert has served under four Oregon governors, gaining 14 years of business recruiting and marketing experience. As a Business Development Officer for the Oregon Economic Development Department, he assisted large employers in the site selection process, which often consisted of communicating and collaborating with federal, state and local governments. Complex zoning issues required custom research, mitigation of special interests, modeling, and negotiations leading up to project implementation. Before working in economic development, Robert had several years of experience in engineering, construction and financial analysis working for Fortune 500 companies.

Community Involvement & Interests

Robert is a dedicated community leader in Central Oregon and beyond. He currently serves as a Board Member at Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg, ID. He previously served as a Board Member for four years at the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council and two years on its Loan Committee, where he showcased both his governance and financial expertise. His three-year involvement in the Oregon Marketplace Program Advisory Committee and leadership roles at Economic Development for Central Oregon exemplify his dedication to economic growth throughout Central Oregon.
