BEND, OR – Advanced Energy has renewed its lease of a 105,000 square foot industrial building located at 20720 Brinson Boulevard in Bend. The facility served as prior home to Oregon
Woodworks, before being leased to PV Powered in 2008.
Founded in 2003 and based in Bend, PV Powered designs manufactures and markets solar inverter solutions. The company was subsequently bought by Fort Collins based Advanced Energy, a global leader in reliable power conversion solutions used in thin-film plasma manufacturing processes and solar energy generation.
“Bend is continuing to attract top research and development industries to the city,” said Patrick Kesgard, CCIM with Compass Commercial who represented the lessor, Arthur Pozzi in the negotiation of the lease renewal. “Economic Development continues to focus on luring manufacturing, research and technology industries with support through groups like EDCO and HiDec (the High Desert Enterprise Consortium). As we continue to expand our local educational resources to support Central Oregon’s diverse manufacturing and technology base, I expect we’ll see an even broader demand for industrial space to service R&D requirements.”
Advanced Energy has 12 locations throughout the US, Canada, Germany, India, Taiwan and China. The Bend facility is one of US six locations and serves as a research and development, spares depot and service location.
