BEND, OR – Compass Commercial Real Estate Services announces the following leases negotiated by the brokerage with tenancies commencing this month.
The former Taylor Sausage Deli & Pub located at 913 NE 3rd Street was leased to Laughing Planet Café. Peter May, CCIM and Howard Friedman, CCIM represented 3rd Street Investment, LLC in the lease of the 3,075 square foot building to Portland-based restaurant chain, Laughing Planet Café. The restaurant will undergo a significant renovation in preparation for a June opening.
In another lease, May and Bruce Kemp, CCIM represented Crux Fermentation Project in the lease of a 5,500 square foot industrial warehouse located in Bend’s NE side of town. They brewery is relocating storage from their existing warehouse to expand capacity for future growth.
In Redmond, St. Charles Health Care leased a 9,856 square foot medical office located at 340 NW 5th Street to accommodate their expanding women’s center. Erich Schultz, SIOR represented St. Charles in their search for an ideal space within the city that would provide accessibility, parking, visibility and proximity to the hospital. The health care provider will occupy the former Washington Federal Bank Space in Black Bear Square, as well as the unimproved space to the south in the facility. Occupancy should occur in early fall. Compass Commercial brokers, Peter May and Robert Raimondi represented the landlord in the lease.
Choose Growth, a Portland-based media company leased 4,180 square feet in Suite 1100 at 1000 SW Columbia Street in the Mill Point Office complex. The company is moving some of its employees to Bend and will occupy the space in April. Peter May and Darren Powderly, CCIM represented Deschutes Properties while May represented the tenant.
