BEND, OR – Compass Commercial Real Estate Services in Bend, Oregon, has been selected as the real estate consulting firm for the proposed Oregon State University-Cascades expansion of facilities to accommodate the four-year university’s goal of serving 3,000 – 5,000 students by the year 2025.
Compass Commercial was selected by a Request for Proposal (RFP) process that attracted real estate firms statewide to the bidding.
Compass Commercial will be identifying available and potentially available properties that will serve as classroom facilities, student housing and supporting services for the growth and development of the newest satellite campus of the state institution.
In January, the university hired Portland based consulting firm, SRG Partnership Inc. to identify space requirements for the proposed expansion (including square footage, number of buildings, etc.) and Compass Commercial will utilize the results to identify the optimal properties.
Compass Commercial is the largest commercial real estate company east of the Cascades and is currently ranked 12th statewide by the Portland Business Journal’s 2013 Book of Lists.
